One program, many places
Policies, controls, evidence and follow-up work are often split across spreadsheets, documents and shared drives.
Clavis — AML Program Operating System
Clavis helps Canadian fintech teams connect obligations, policies, controls, owners, work and evidence in one operating record. Start with the documents you already have, review source-linked drafts, and keep material decisions with your team.

Why Clavis
Policies, controls, evidence and follow-up work are often split across spreadsheets, documents and shared drives.
A document can exist without showing whether it is current, approved, complete or owned.
Regulatory change must be reviewed, assigned and carried into the program without losing its source or decision history.
Current product mechanics
Clavis brings your team's recorded applicability decisions, controls, owners, evidence and follow-up work into one connected program record.
Context
Start from existing documents or guided questions. Review drafted answers before they enter the record.
Step 1 of 5.Decision
Record whether a supported obligation applies, does not apply, or still needs review.
Step 2 of 5.Connection
Connect obligations to the relevant policies, controls, owners and follow-up work.
Step 3 of 5.Evidence state
Keep missing, submitted, accepted and stale evidence distinct.
Step 4 of 5.Review
Assemble the recorded program state for review and approval by a designated officer.
Step 5 of 5.A recorded connection does not by itself prove that an obligation is met or a control is effective.
The operating record keeps source, status, ownership and supporting evidence together for human review.
Clavis organizes information and drafts proposals. Your CAMLO, CCO or accountable leader retains material and external-use decisions.
Clavis operates the AML program layer. Transaction monitoring, KYC, screening, investigation and filing remain separate systems; Clavis does not replace them.
Start with guided questions or existing documents. Review source excerpts, then record your team's applicability decisions against supported FINTRAC obligations.
Keep officer appointments, registration, policies, training and record-retention records together, with a visible owner and status.
Connect obligations to controls and follow-up work, then see which owners, links or evidence still need attention.
Keep submitted, accepted, stale and missing evidence distinct. Assemble recorded state into a Compliance Brief for designated human review.
Target state — not currently available
For the Founding Design Partner Program, regulatory-change support is planned as a source-linked, human-reviewed service. The target is to monitor supported official sources, map relevant updates across the program, and route proposed impacts for human review and approval. That automated workflow is not available today.
Accountability
Clavis does not replace judgment. It makes the source, status and ownership of consequential work visible.
Unknown stays unknown.
Unassessed areas remain visible instead of being smoothed into a reassuring answer.
Evidence keeps its state.
Submitted, reviewed and accepted are different states, and Clavis keeps them that way.
AI drafts. People decide.
Source-linked drafts remain proposals until an accountable person reviews them.
We are selecting a small group of Canadian fintech teams to test Clavis on real workflows and shape a product designed for customer-owned day-to-day operation. A submission requests a fit review; it does not create an account or guarantee selection.
